TRAINS

Trains can be found between T1 and T2 and accessible from T3 they are a maximum 20mins walking distance away, but bear in mind the amount of luggage you have as you have to negotiate the lifts and walkways. Trains can be non existent at times due to new train services being installed. Recently all the car hire or rental companies have been relocated out of all terminals to Car Hire Village Ringway Road, Manchester Airport. Difficult to walk there with luggage, but a shuttle bus runs from the car rental village to all terminals. A point to note is that the shuttle bus visits all terminals including the train station on a circular route.  A point to note is that if the bus is full you will all arrive at the rental desk at the same time leading to a lengthy wait.
