Stansted Airport
Stansted Airport has one main passenger terminal, a private aircraft terminal and a cargo station. There are three passenger satellites in which the departure gates are situated, two connected to the main terminal by an air-bridge and the other by a transit system.
Stansted terminal facilities include several bureau de change, left luggage service, several shops, restaurants and bars as well as internet access. Car hire and taxis can also be arranged from within Stansted Airports terminal building. The terminal building was designed by Foster Associates and features a "floating" roof, supported by a space frame of inverted-pyramid roof trusses, creating the impression of a stylised swan in flight.
The base of each truss structure is a "utility pillar", which provides indirect uplighting illumination and is the location for air-conditioning and water, telecommunications, and electrical outlets. The layout of the airport is designed to provide an unobstructed flow for passengers to arrive at the short-stay car park, move through the check-in hall, go through security, and on to the departure gates all on the same level. However,Stansted airport has never catered for spectators or those wishing to watch friends depart because of the current security restrictions put in place by the Government.
In the last ten years Stansted airport has seen a rapid expansion of passenger numbers: Having 12 million passengers in 2000, the number of passengers using Stansted in 2004 was 20.9 million which rose by 5.3% to 21.9 million in 2005.

- All prices quoted are for cash/cheque or credit card payment to driver at time of travel. or for one-off airport pick-ups
- New clients previously unknown to us, we prefer credit card # telephoned, faxed or completed on our secure online form to hold reservation.
- Card will not be charged until journey is completed and of course there is a small additional surcharge for credit card payment.
- For destinations and collections not mentioned in our price list, please contact for a firm quotation in advance.
- Please inform us if passengers have excessive luggage as this can limit numbers on airport runs and sometimes a larger vehicle may be appropriate.
- On rare occasions we incur additional waiting, despite our carefully monitoring of flight arrivals on the internet (perhaps immigration are slow etc.) in this event any waiting over 60 minutes will be charged at 20 UK pounds per hour pro-rata. We re-state though, this is highly unusual. Additional car parking is charged at cost. (See note above).
- Driver will wait in arrivals hall for 90 minutes after plane has landed unless advised otherwise.
- He will have passenger paged on public address system before assuming no show-up and leaving.
- All taxes are included and gratuities are at client's discretion .
- We have a no strict no smoking policy in all of our cars as required by UK law.
